About Coach Alexis

My name is Alexis Gray, I enjoy hiking, playing board games with friends, and weightlifting... but I LOVE swimming! I have been coaching competitive swim for the last 2 years and have taught swimming for the past 7. I have worked with swimmers from ages 3 to 74 and had the joy of watching them grow.

My swim career began at 8 years old, with this really cool team called the Cedar Park Typhoons. The Typhoons started my passion for swimming, and I carried it with me to club swim all the way to my high school's varsity team.

What I love most about this sport is that it is about self improvement. After every race, there is an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on what you can do to grow. That growth mindset is the biggest positive impact swimming has made on my life.

With that being said, I look forward to sharing my passion for this sport with the team! Go Typhoons!

About Coach Chloe

Hey Typhoons! My name is Chloe, and I am so excited to be back for my third season coaching!

I started swimming with the Typhoons when I was seven, and it is such an honor to come back and coach. In addition to Typhoons, I swam for LCA (now CAA) and the Cedar Park High School team, and played water polo with CPHS too!

Outside of swimming, I love reading, learning new things and traveling. I will be graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington at the beginning of May, and will be beginning my career as a nurse in the fall.
