New Swimmer Evaluations
Milburn Pool
Start: 11:00 AM
End: 1:00 PM
Evaluations are required for all new Typhoon swimmers (regardless of age). The goals of the evaluation are to demonstrate that swimmers can safely get across the pool and assess their proficiency in all four swims strokes: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke. If your child cannot swim all four strokes, there is still a place for them on our team! |

Come and join us for the season's kick-off event on Sunday, 4/30 from 5pm-7pm at Brushy Creek Pavillion. Our sponsor, Tacavron, will be onsite selling tacos for the team to enjoy - thank you for supporting them. The Board and Coaches are looking forward to meeting with you and going over all your questions about the season. |

Let’s thank the coaches for all they do with a fun “Coach Appreciation Week”. Monday: We couldn't have "picked" better coaches! -fresh fruit Tuesday: We "donut" know where we would be without you.-donuts and coffee Wednesday: There is "muffin" like our Typhoon coaches-muffins and juice Thursday: Thanks for "quenching" our thirst for swimming-refreshing drink Friday: Cards for caring coaches- notes to coaches (We will have a poster board for each coach at practices all week for our swimmers to decorate, feel free to bring and stickers of whatever else they would like to decorate with!) Maggiore's Spirit Night

We have our next spirit day/night lined up where you can support our local business Maggiore's by dining out, and in turn they'll support the Typhoons by donating back up to 20% of your purchase to the team! Just dine in at Maggiore's any time between 5-8 pm on Tuesday, June 20, and give the bottom part of the attached flyer to your server so they know you're there for the Typhoons. You can also show an electronic version on your phone - just make sure that the server notes on the check that it should be considered for our fundraiser. Printed version is probably best - so you can either print out the attached, or we'll have a stack available for you to grab at our meet this weekend (and probably practices Monday/Tuesday next week). So please join us at Mag's on Tuesday with your families and friends - and if you know anyone that loves eating at Mag's, please forward the attachment on so that they can help support us too!
