Time to Get Started - Contest Rules & Pep Rally Details

Hello Typhoons Fans!

Friday is our PEP RALLY! It is time to get excited for our Divisional Meet on Saturday.  The Pep Rally is from 8-10am at Milburn Pool.  Each age group is repsonsible to provide a food category - see list below.

There will be two SPIRIT CONTESTS that you will work on at HOME to be judged Friday morning.  You can work as a family or get a group of swimmers together, it is up to you.

Car Decorating

Rules

• Each family will decorate their own car and show up Friday morning for it to be judged.  (I suggest Car Chalk you can get it at Walmart in the back by the auto supplies)
  

• Judging will take place at 8:30.

• There will be extra paints for families that would like to decorate their cars at the pool, each family is reponsible for who decorates their car. Only the cars ready at 8:30 will be part of the judging.
  

• Prizes will be given for specific categories TBD, we will send an email with the categories shortly.

Spirit Posters

Rules

• Each family or group of swimmers will decorate/create their own Spirit Poster. Posters must be the size of a standard poster board. Any materials may be used, be creative.  Do your best to show the spirit of the typhoons. We will take these with us to Divisionals.

• Judging will take place at 8:45

• There will be some posters and markers at the rally for those who would like to create additional posters.

• Prizes will be given.

Food

Age groups 6/U and 7/8 - bagels, donuts, muffins

Age Groups 9/10  and 11/12 - fresh fruit, veggies, snacks

Age Groups 13 +  - Water bottles or juice boxes

The sno cone machine will also be at the event.
