2010 Registration for the Cedar Park
Typhoons Summer Swim
Team
Registration
Dates
April 24th and May 1st
from 10am to 2pm at Elizabeth Milburn
Pool.
Eligibility requires that all swimmers must be under age 18 as of
May 1st, 2010, and new swimmers must be able to swim one pool
length (25 yards) unassisted.
Fees are $145 per swimmer
and $125 for additional siblings (an additional $5 processing fee
for online registrations). The fee also includes AAU swimmer
insurance and a Typhoons team
t-shirt.

The
team wear includes a team suit that is required for all meets. The
"TYR Shockwave" swim suit will be new for the 2010 season and will
be used for two years. Suits may be purchased through the
Team Unify "Gear Store" via our
website and are 40% off msrp and do
not include sales tax. A solid black suit is also acceptable. A
Typhoons swim cap is required for all swim meets and will also be
available for sale. Goggles are also
required.
The 2010 Cedar Park Typhoons swim season will include six dual
meets held on Saturday mornings. Our first meet is scheduled for
May 24th. In addition, everyone may participate in our Divisional
Meet on July 17th. Qualified swimmers may also participate in an
Invitational Meet on July 18th to be held at the University of
Texas. An Awards Banquet will finish the season on July
19th.
School practices are scheduled May 10th through June 4th from 430pm
to 700pm, age group time to be determined in the near future.
Summer practices begin on June 7th through July 16th from 700am to
1100am. Age group practice times will be listed on our website at
www.cedarparktyphoons.org.

First Swim
Meet
Our first swim meet will be May,
29th, 2010, against the Rattan Creek Hurricanes at Elizabeth
Milburn Pool.
